Your SDE is ending. Your grid connection can earn more.
Your wind turbine or solar park uses its grid connection only part of the time. We install a battery on the same connection and turn that unused capacity into income. We make the investment, not you.
- We make the investment
- No cost if the project does not go ahead
- Fully removed at the end
What changes when the subsidy ends?
No more floor price
You receive only the market price. In sunny and windy hours it is low, and increasingly negative.
Costs continue
Maintenance, insurance, land lease and grid charges remain, while the installation gets older.
Decisions about the future
Continue, sell, repower or stop? Every choice affects your grid connection, and once it is gone you cannot simply get it back.
This is where the money you are leaving on the table sits
Your grid connection is sized for the peak output of your installation. You only reach that peak a few hours a year. The rest of the time there is capacity to spare. A battery uses that capacity: it charges when power is cheap and delivers when there is demand. That way your grid connection earns even when the wind drops or the sun goes down.

Three models, one goal: earning from your grid connection
Which model fits best depends on your site, your grid connection and your wishes. We work that out together.
Battery next to your park
You keep your wind turbine or solar park. We install a battery on your grid connection. We make the investment, and you receive a fixed annual fee, agreed in advance.
- Your wind or solar power takes priority
- If the project does not go ahead, it costs you nothing
- At the end, we remove everything and leave the land in good order
We lease your park and connection
We lease your wind turbine or solar park, including the grid connection, and take over management, maintenance and power sales. You receive a guaranteed minimum rent, plus a share of the revenue when the market is favourable.
- A guaranteed minimum rent
- A share of the revenue in good years
- We add a battery and improve the park
We buy your power, with a battery
You remain the owner and stay in charge. We buy your power at a price that moves with the market and use a battery to sell that power at better times.
- You stay in control of your installation
- A price that moves with the market
- Less exposure to negative prices

More than a battery

Income after the SDE
A fixed fee or a guaranteed minimum rent, agreed in advance.
Fewer worries
Permit, construction, power sales, maintenance and faults: we take them over, depending on the model you choose.
A future for your site
Even when your turbine or panels reach the end of their life, the grid connection stays in use.
Good for the grid
A battery absorbs peaks and delivers power when there is a shortage. That helps the congested grid in your region.
How we work together
- 1
Introduction
We visit you to discuss your installation, your grid connection and your plans after the SDE.
- 2
Site check
No obligation. Using Powerplaats, we look at grid capacity, permits, surroundings and an initial battery design.
- 3
Proposal
A concrete proposal: which form of partnership fits, what we do and what you receive. If the project does not go ahead, it costs you nothing.
- 4
Delivery
We handle the permit, the arrangements with the grid operator and construction, and then management and maintenance.
What is already running

What owners ask us
Which installations is this suitable for?
Wind turbines and solar parks with their own grid connection, roughly 0.5 MW and above, whose SDE subsidy ends in the coming years or has already ended. Not sure? We are happy to take a look.
Do I need to invest?
No. We make the investment, not you. If the project does not go ahead, it costs you nothing.
How much space does a battery take up?
Very little. A battery sits in a few containers next to your grid connection. We work out exactly how much land is needed during the site check.
Is a battery safe?
We design to PGS 37-1, the Dutch fire-safety guideline for battery storage, and agree the plan with the municipality and the regional safety authority (veiligheidsregio).
What happens to my wind turbine or solar park?
That depends on the model. With a battery next to your park, everything stays yours and your installation keeps running as usual. With a lease, we take over management for the agreed period.
How long does an agreement run, and what happens afterwards?
We match the term to the lifetime of the battery and your installation. At the end, we remove everything and leave the land in good order. We agree this in advance.
Is a permit required?
A battery usually needs an environmental permit (omgevingsvergunning). We apply for it, and we discuss the plan with the municipality and the grid operator beforehand.
What if my turbine reaches the end of its life?
The grid connection keeps its value. A battery can continue to operate on the connection, and together we look at repowering or another use.
What does the site check cost?
Nothing. The site check is free of obligation: we visit you on site and you are not committed to anything.
What is possible depends on your location, your grid connection and the grid operator's conditions. No rights can be derived from the information on this website.
